nano brows
YOUR MORNING ROUTINE CALLED.
IT WANTS A BREAKUP.
Effortless brows. Less maintenance. More you.
YOUR BROWS,
BUT BETTER.
Because good brows shouldn't require a 20-minute commitment every morning.
Sparse brows? Uneven shape? Or just over spending your mornings trying to get them to cooperate?
Nano brows use delicate, machine-created hair strokes to add natural-looking definition while working with your existing features.
Your brows. Your features. Just a little less maintenance.
NANO BROWS VS.
MICROBLADING
Similar results. Different techniques. Here's why I chose nano.
MICROBLADING
Microblading uses a handheld tool with tiny needles to create shallow cuts in the skin and deposit pigment. These cuts are designed to mimic individual brow hairs.
While it can create beautiful results, microblading isn't always the best fit for every skin type. Oiliness, skin sensitivity, and how your skin heals can affect how well the strokes retain their definition.
Microblading is a manual technique and isn't suitable for everyone. We do not offer microblading at Wander + Lost Ink.
NANO BROWS
Nano brows use a cosmetic tattoo machine with an ultra-fine needle to create delicate, hairlike strokes without using a handheld blade.
I chose to specialize in nano brows because the machine gives me more control and flexibility when working with different skin characteristics. Every set is customized to the client's natural features and desired results.
Nano brows may be an option for some clients who aren't ideal candidates for microblading. Suitability is always assessed individually.
WHY I CHOSE NANO BROWS
I wanted to offer a brow technique that gives me more flexibility instead of taking the same approach with every client.
Everyone's skin is different. Everyone's brows are different. And I don't believe in treating them like they're all the same.
Nano brows aren't right for absolutely everyone, but they give me more options to create something thoughtful and personalized.
Your brows. Your features.Your kind of beautiful.
REAL BROWS.
REAL PEOPLE.
No two faces are the same, and your brows shouldn't be either. Here's a closer look at some of the brows I've had the pleasure of creating.
A little more definition. Still completely you.

nano brows | existing scar tissue
Customized hairstyles over an area affected by scarring from a previous car accident.
This one’s a little more personal.
These are my mom’s brows. She was in a car accident almost 20 years ago that left a large scar across her eyebrow and up to her forehead. The scar had altered the shape of her brow. So I had the opportunity to bring back some definition to it along with doing my best to make both brows as even as possible.
A FEW GOOD
QUESTIONS.
Because getting your face tattooed deserves more than a quick Google search.
01 / THE BROW BASICS
What exactly are nano brows?
Nano brows are a form of cosmetic tattooing that uses a machine and an ultra-fine needle to create delicate, hairlike strokes.
The goal is to give your brows natural-looking definition while working with your existing shape and features.
Do nano brows hurt?
Everyone's pain tolerance is different. Some clients describe a light scratching sensation, while others find certain areas more sensitive.
We'll talk about what to expect before getting started.
How long do nano brows last?
Nano brows are cosmetic tattoos, so pigment can remain in your skin long-term. Their appearance will gradually soften and change, but there's no exact expiration date.
Your skin, lifestyle, sun exposure, and individual pigment retention all affect how your brows look over time.
Can I get nano brows with oily or sensitive skin?
Possibly! One reason I chose nano brows is the flexibility of working with a machine.
But oily or sensitive skin can still affect how the strokes heal and retain pigment. We'll look at your individual skin needs before deciding whether nano brows are the right fit.
Can nano brows work over scars?
In some cases, yes! I've actually worked over fully healed brow scarring, including my own mom's scar from a car accident.
Scar tissue can respond differently from surrounding skin, so every situation needs to be evaluated individually. Pigment retention can't be guaranteed.
What if I have old microblading or permanent makeup?
Please let me know before booking, even if the previous work is several years old.
Existing pigment, color, saturation, and skin condition all matter. Some clients may need removal or correction before new hairstrokes are an option.
Will nano brows damage my natural eyebrow hair?
Nano brows are designed to place pigment in the skin, not remove your existing eyebrow hairs.
The procedure isn't intended to damage your hair follicles. However, like any cosmetic tattoo, there are risks, including irritation, scarring, and changes to the skin.
Your natural brow hairs remain part of your finished look.
02 / YOUR APPOINTMENT
How do I know if I'm a good candidate?
Nano brows may work for a variety of clients, but they aren't right for absolutely everyone.
Your skin, medical history, medications, previous permanent makeup, and healing considerations all matter. I'll review those details before moving forward.
Do I need naturally full brows?
Not at all! Sparse, thinning, and uneven brows are some of the reasons people consider nano brows in the first place.
We'll work with your natural features to create a shape that makes sense for you.
Do I get to approve my brow shape?
Absolutely. We'll talk about your preferences and map out a shape designed around your facial features.
You'll have the opportunity to review the shape before any tattooing begins.
How do we choose my brow color?
We'll discuss your natural brow hair, skin characteristics, and the overall look you're hoping for.
The goal is to choose a pigment that complements your features, while keeping in mind that healed color can look different from fresh pigment.
Do I need to shave or tweeze my brows beforehand?
Please don't shave off your brows! Your natural brow hairs help guide the design.
Review your pre-care instructions before making changes to your brow routine, and reach out if you're unsure about grooming before your appointment.
How long is my appointment?
Plan for up to 4.5 hours. That includes discussing your goals, brow mapping, preparation, and the actual procedure.
I like having enough time to focus on the little details without rushing your appointment.
What should I do before my appointment?
You'll receive pre-care instructions to review before your appointment. Please let me know about any relevant medical conditions, medications, recent skin treatments, or previous brow tattooing.
If you're unsure whether something affects your appointment, it's always better to ask beforehand. Don't stop prescribed medication without guidance from your healthcare professional.
What happens if I don't like my nano brows?
This is exactly why we take time to talk about your goals, map your brows, and review the shape before tattooing begins.
I want you to feel comfortable with the design before we move forward.
That said, nano brows are a cosmetic tattoo. Changes afterward aren't as simple as wiping off makeup, and correction or removal can be complicated. Please communicate any concerns before we start.
03 / HEALING & TOUCH-UPS
What will my brows look like right afterward?
Fresh brows usually appear darker, bolder, and more defined than they'll look once healed. Some redness or tenderness can also happen.
As your skin heals, the appearance will soften and change. Fresh results aren't the same as fully healed results.
How long does healing take?
Surface healing often happens over the first couple of weeks, but the appearance of your brows can continue changing for several weeks afterward.
Flaking, temporary unevenness, and changes in how visible the pigment looks can be part of the process.
Can I work out after getting nano brows?
You'll need to be mindful of sweating, friction, and activities that may interfere with healing.
I'll provide specific aftercare instructions, including when to return to your normal exercise routine.
Will I need a touch-up?
Not everyone needs one, but some clients benefit from a touch-up to refine areas where pigment didn't retain evenly.
We can evaluate your healed results around 6–8 weeks after your initial appointment. Touch-ups are priced separately.
Can I still wear brow makeup after getting nano brows?
Absolutely! Once your brows are fully healed, you can still use brow pencils, gels, or other makeup whenever you want a little extra definition.
The goal isn't to stop you from wearing makeup. It's to make your everyday brow routine a little easier.
Avoid applying makeup directly to the treated area until it's healed and you've been cleared to resume.
Still have questions?
I'm always happy to talk brows.
